JOJI
3D DESIGN & ANIMATION, UNREAL, NOTCH
In Association With IMMANENT
001// THE PROJECT
IMMANENT brought me in as an Animator for JOJI’s Pandemonium tour. The stage design was comprised of a large back wall, and cube shaped LED risers with large LED cubes on automation suspended above each riser which provided a unique canvas that evolved throughout the performance. We created several looks that created volumetric illusions with the cubes, emphasizing their 3D form - such as squishy human heads filling the cubes or skinning the cubes like brutalist cement structures.
002// THE PROCESS
Drew Best and Anthony Ciannamea creative directed this project and delivered some really unique concepts for us animators to explore and bring to life. Notch, Unreal, and some Cinema4D were used for the looks I worked one here.
The final look ended up more industrial and abstract, but I really like how this modern apartment window concept test turned out
